Brief
The brief was to level the existing sloping garden and build a bigger patio area at the end to catch the afternoon/evening sun. We were also asked to keep the existing main shrubs and trees but to add some new perennial planting for colour and interest at different times of the year.

Solution
The garden was levelled and a small brick retaining wall with two steps was built leading up to the lawn. A new larger patio was built at the end of the garden and some new planting added to provide some structure, texture and colours to complement the existing planting.
